Airbrush art with passion creative design of everyday objects and art objects

Creative in all situations

Besucht mich auch auf

As a passionate artist, I would like to introduce my latest project Mary`s Farbklecks on this page.

Who or what is "Mary`s Farbklecks"?

Everyone knows the saying, you have to give the child a name! While I was working on my latest project, this very question came up, mainly because it is something completely different from the previous ones. So I had to find a name that would apply to all my works.

How did this come about?

Many friends and acquaintances from all over the world, who have come to know my art in various ways, have encouraged me - one could almost say urged me - to continue to give free rein to my passion and not to stop. Inspired by my son's sport, I came up with the idea for my T-shirt project. It was clear that we needed a new name.

What can I say? That's exactly what I'm doing!

Over the last two decades, I've had a few projects and my work has traveled the world with me or I've found the inspiration for them while traveling. I started with self-drawn and written comics and photography. From around 2012, I started airbrushing, creating many hoods, motorcycle tanks, furniture, murals and everyday objects that are individually designed according to a specific theme and have now found their home all over the world with family, friends and acquaintances. Now it goes on! Mary's Farbklecks is taking off with new ideas, but without neglecting the tried and tested ones. Another child has been born, so to speak, and we are delighted to welcome it into our creative world. I think the name Mary's Farbklecks fits perfectly with all my creations. My son knew straight away that it was exactly the right name. He also knows my studio, the famous "Zickenstube", with its colorful speckled floor.

My life >>

Hallo, Hello, Hola, Merhaba, Olá, Hallo

We say hello and "Servus" on our blog, here you will always find the latest news and exclusives from the Farbklecks, straight from the Zickenstube.

We have chosen the 6 languages above because they are the languages of the countries in which works have already found their home. Hopefully there will be more soon! To our astonishment, we discovered that "hello" also means "hello" in Norwegian. It should also be mentioned that there are works by Mary to be discovered in 9 countries around the world, but the same language is spoken in several of them.

Best regards from Augsburg

Mary and Felix

Abandoned unique pieces are looking for a home

!! Wanted!! Exhibition space wanted!!

Wanted!! We think it's a shame that some of the works haven't yet found a suitable place where they can be seen. If you come across a work that you particularly like while browsing through the galleries and would like to exhibit it, please contact us. Unfortunately, all works marked with “Abandoned” are currently gathering dust in the attic, basement or garage. We would be very happy if we could find a home for our “homeless” art.

A marble run on a world tour

We introduce ourselves:

We, Mary and Felix, designed and built the marble blob together. You're probably wondering how?...a marble run on a world tour and then built it yourself. We'll leave you in the dark for a bit! The story should be told from the beginning. First of all, a few words about the two of us. We met this year and fell in love on a very turbulent Friday. We quickly realized that we both lead pretty exciting lives and have been able to experience a lot.

New and old projects

T-Shirts

Motifs for T-shirts

The idea came up because we wondered whether it would be possible to transfer the motifs of the breakdance hood onto T-shirts. My son and his dance team were so enthusiastic about the motifs and their style that they could well imagine wearing such motifs on their shirts. So I started experimenting, spraying textile dyes on shirts was a good start, the idea had potential. To improve the quality of the motifs, but also of the T-shirts, I started looking for other ways to transfer them onto garments. Spraying on fabric is different from spraying on smooth surfaces. But everyone knows the stores that offer self-designed clothes. So the "big googling" began to find out what was needed. It quickly became clear that we would have to digitize and process my work in order to bring the style and character of the images to the shirt. After many nerve-wracking hours in front of the computer, the first T-shirts are now ready and we are wearing them.

As soon as there is something new to report about the T-shirt project, you will find all the information on the blog.

My artistic roots

If you are interested in my artistic roots just have a look at my first webpage

... "step by step" ...

During our creative, sometimes chaotic, but always passionate creative drive, the ideas and plans just bubbled out of us. When creating the T-shirts, it quickly became clear that many of the motifs already seen on other works of art were also suitable for printing on textiles. Even when we were building the marble run, it was clear that we wanted the world to see it and that we were going on a world tour. We gradually became more and more aware that other people also enjoy our projects and that many would like to have something similar for their homes. This was confirmed to us again and again by friends, acquaintances and guests and we decided to tackle it together ... slowly "step by step" but determined and full of enthusiasm!

We are looking forward to it!

Cool things for the home

Turning old into new

Toys

Patio sofa

On several evenings on the patio, my partner and I longed for a cozy piece of furniture where the two of us could sit, lie down and snuggle up together. It quickly became clear that we didn't want furniture from the garden center, but to build it ourselves.

No sooner said than done!

Using leftover wood and old slats from the torn-off patio floor, we started building. Take a few clothespins, screws and nails, ...get some foam and a cover... ...finish the whole thing with pin-ups and our "nibbling blob" was ready.

Skoda bar

Unfortunately, my beloved Skoda had to be scrapped after an accident. But of course I kept the hood. It was clear what should be sprayed on the hood, as I had already made stencils with the theme 'Art of the 1920s' 2 years ago. However, the hood was to be integrated into our home...so what should become of the good piece? We had various ideas. When we found an old wooden bed in the cellar, we decided to turn the hood and bed into a bar for the terrace.

Now the old Skoda and the bed have a new place of honor on the terrace next to the Knabberklecks.

Marble run

Building a marble run yourself may sound crazy. It may well be! But we like to be a bit crazy and had a lot of fun building our marble run. We used lots of different things that everyone knows: toys from my and my son's childhood, but also things that would otherwise be thrown away, such as corks or pieces of wood from the new patio floor. Do you know the song "My marble run"? The song is right... watching the marbles and switching off - fun for young and old. We have sat in front of it many times and were fascinated.

Hoods on a trip around the world

Hoods & Tanks

Over the last decade, more than 45 hoods and 8 motorcycle tanks have been created. Some have found their home far away from Augsburg and are scattered on 2 continents and in 9 countries around the world. All are dedicated to a specific theme and are unique. I got the idea and motifs for the themes from my travels (e.g. Vietnam). Others I designed to artistically represent a country (e.g. USA, Turkey), an event (e.g. the fall of the Berlin Wall), an event (e.g. Woodstock) or an era/cultural event (e.g. Paris/Berlin in the 1920s). But also, of course, because I simply wanted to deal with a topic artistically or make a friend happy. (Circus, music, Madhouse, MotoGP).
